*New* Plan-A-ware
In 2008 we launched Plan-A-ware to streamline the process of Business Continuity Plan development and management. Plan-A-ware is a hosted, Web 2.0 business continuity planning & management service that enhances any organization's ability to interact with its Business Continuity Plan (BCP). From the beginning, the BCP is developed collaboratively and maintained with ease. Team members can "wander" through the BCP resulting in greater awareness, higher retention and improved skills. Here are a few of organizations that have chosen Plan-A-ware:

  • American Diabetes Association
  • ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership
  • FASEB - Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology
  • UNOS - United Network for Organ Sharing

Business Continuity Planning Workshop
This 1/2 day workshop takes the participants through the steps necessary to develop THEIR Business Continuity Plan. Each participant uses his/her own organization's information. It starts by identifying critical infrastructure, prioritizing key business functions then analyzing the impact of various disruptions to these business functions. From there it's on to developing emergency response procedures and disaster recovery plans. Upon completion, the participants will have a basic business continuity plan. In 2008 the workshop was used to help individual organizations - one-on-one - to develop their own BCPs. Here are a couple of associations that offered this workshop to their members:

  • Association Forum of Chicagoland
  • Hawaii Credit Union League

We also had the opportunity to conduct a private version of this workshop for SmithAmundsen.

The Disaster Experience - tabletop disaster simulation exercises
Over the past 12 months, Attainium has conducted its half-day Disaster Experience simulation workshop for many organizations throughout the US. Here is a partial list of groups that offered our unique training experience:

  • Association of Contingency Planners / Connecticut
  • Association of Legal Administrators
  • BOMA International
  • BOMA New York
  • Facilities Decisions
  • Hawaii Credit Union League
  • National Facilities Management & Technology Conference (NFM&T)
  • North Carolina Bankers Association
  • World Waterpark Association
  • Florida Atlantic University
  • George Washington University
  • Massachusetts Maritime Academy
  • University of Delaware

Tabletop Exercises
This past year Attainium's Tabletop Exercises continued to be a key element in many organizations Business Continuity Management efforts. Each custom designed Tabletop is developed specifically to meet an organization's exercise goals and requirements. Storylines are developed for a specific geography, facilities, resources as well as those threats, hazards and vulnerabilities that are of major concern. Our Tabletop Exercises target any industry, business, building or facility covering virtually anything that is of concern to safety, security, communications and continuity of operations. Here are a few forward thinking organizations that undertook an Attainium conducted tabletop exercise in 2008:

  • Regeneron Pharmaceuticals
  • SF Police Credit Union
